Apparel & soft goods

Mailers and clear bags that protect garments without overpacking — and that look like the brand on the way out the door.

Custom-printed apparel poly mailer with logo and social handles
WHO THIS IS FOR

Garments are forgiving cargo — they crush, fold, and shrug off the kind of handling that would shatter a glass jar. What they don't forgive is dust, light moisture, abrasion at the seam line, or a mailer that splits on the conveyor. Your packaging job is to keep the garment clean, keep the brand on the bag, and keep the freight invoice down.

And if you're a DTC apparel brand, the mailer IS your packaging. There's no folding carton. The bag is what the customer sees before they see the product — so what's printed on it has to land.

WHAT WE ROUTINELY SOLVE

Real situations we ship against.

If one of these reads like the conversation you had with your team last week, you're in the right place.

Your hangtag prints transferred to the inside of the mailer

We can spec a film with a smoother inner surface and an ink chemistry that resists transfer. The garment ships clean; the unboxing photo lands clean on Instagram.

You're switching to a thinner garment, gauge feels wrong

A 2.5 mil mailer that worked for sweatshirts feels stiff around a tank top. We can step down to a lighter gauge for the new SKU without giving up tear strength, and run both gauges out of the same plant under the same lot system.

Retail wants a clear polybag with a self-adhesive label window

Clear side-weld or J-fold poly bag, sized to the folded garment dimension, with a printed label area if you need pricing or SKU info visible through the bag. Hanger holes optional.

Your seasonal drop just changed the run quantities mid-cycle

Small to mid-size custom runs are our floor — we don't need million-unit MOQs to spin up a print job. Reprint with the next collection's artwork in 2–3 weeks instead of staring at last-season's bags through the holidays.

Returns are a real percentage of your business

Double-strip mailers let the customer reseal and ship back without buying a return envelope. The cost per parcel goes up by cents; the cost of a return ticket goes down by a lot.

WHAT WE'D QUOTE

Our recommended starting point.

Every quote is built from scratch — but these are the products we end up specifying most often for this kind of buyer.

COMPLIANCE WE STAY ON TOP OF

The specs we read so you don't have to.

  • Amazon FBA suffocation-warning standard (1.5 mil + bilingual warning + vent)
  • California Proposition 65 (where relevant to fabric chemistry)
  • State-level warning requirements (CA, NY, MA, VA, RI)
  • Retailer-specific packaging specs (Walmart, Target, Nordstrom)
WHY NEARSHORE, FOR YOU

The Tijuana case.

Apparel cycles are short. A drop that lands six weeks late might as well not land — the season has moved on. Manufacturing in Tijuana and shipping FOB Baja California means a brand can change artwork in October and ship it in November, rather than locking artwork in July to be safe.
