Synergy Packaging & Manufacturing is the commercial brand of Smarther Sourcing Solutions LLC, a Delaware limited liability company with offices in San Diego, California, USA, and Ecom Supplies S.A. de C.V., a Mexican corporation with operations in Tijuana, Baja California, México (together, “Synergy,” “we,” “us” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to our public website at www.synergypackaging.mx, our customer portal at portal.synergypackaging.mx, and any related properties that link to this policy (collectively, the “Sites”).
1. Information we collect
We only collect what we need to respond to your inquiry, quote and deliver an order, or operate the Sites securely. Specifically:
- Information you give us — name, business email, phone number, company name, shipping address, and the contents of messages you send through quote-request forms, portal forms or email.
- Order & commercial information — purchase orders, quotes, invoices, payment status (we do not store full payment card numbers), shipping and customs documents.
- Account information — for portal users: login email, hashed password, role, language preference, and audit timestamps.
- Technical information — IP address, browser type and version, device type, and request logs collected automatically by our hosting and security infrastructure.

2. How we use your information
- To respond to quote requests and other inquiries.
- To prepare quotes, place orders into production, ship product, and invoice and collect payment.
- To maintain customer accounts on our portal and operating-system app, including user authentication and role-based access.
- To send transactional communications about your quotes, orders, shipments and invoices.
- To send occasional service updates and, where permitted, marketing communications about products and capabilities you may find useful. You can opt out of marketing at any time.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorized access, and to maintain the security and availability of the Sites.
- To meet our legal, accounting, tax, customs and regulatory obligations in the United States and México.
3. Legal bases (residents of México and the EEA/UK)
Where the law requires a specific legal basis, we rely on one or more of: your consent, the necessity of performing a contract with you (or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract), our legitimate interests in operating and growing our business, and compliance with legal obligations.
For residents of México, this notice is provided in accordance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares, “LFPDPPP”) and applicable regulations.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:
- Within our group — between Smarther Sourcing Solutions LLC and Ecom Supplies S.A. de C.V. as necessary to operate the business across the border (e.g., a US-side sales inquiry leading to a MX-side production order).
- Service providers — vetted third parties that host our infrastructure, send our emails, process our payments, ship our product and provide our customer-facing tooling. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us. As of the effective date, our principal providers include Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (transactional email), payment processors, freight carriers and customs brokers.
- Legal and safety — when required by applicable law, court order, or to protect rights, property or safety of Synergy, our customers or others.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition or sale of all or part of the business, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
5. International transfers
Because our business operates between the United States and México, your information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored in either country. We take appropriate steps to safeguard information transferred across borders, including contractual protections with our service providers.
6. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above and to comply with our legal, tax, accounting and contractual obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal information, to portability, or to withdraw consent. Residents of México may exercise their ARCO rights (Acceso, Rectificación, Cancelación, Oposición) and revoke consent at any time. You also have the right to opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any marketing message.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to or from the Sites.
9. Children
The Sites are intended for business use and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
