Electronics & ESD

Protective packaging that controls static and immobilizes the board — for the electronics makers on our side of the border.

Pink anti-static (ESD) polyethylene foam, die-cut for electronics protection
WHO THIS IS FOR

You build or assemble electronics — bare boards, components, sub-assemblies, finished devices — and the packaging touching them can't generate a static charge. A discharge too small to feel is enough to damage a board, sometimes invisibly, and that latent failure becomes a field return nobody traces back to the foam. The protective layer has to be genuinely ESD-safe, not just labeled that way.

You're likely in Baja's electronics cluster or serving it cross-border from Southern California, and you'd rather not import anti-static foam across an ocean when it can be engineered in-country, to your part, on a nearshore lead time.

WHAT WE ROUTINELY SOLVE

Real situations we ship against.

If one of these reads like the conversation you had with your team last week, you're in the right place.

Bare boards are arriving with intermittent failures

If the cushioning around a board can charge against it, you're shipping ESD damage inside the protection. We engineer anti-static (dissipative) foam to a cavity that fits the board, with a surface-resistance spec — not a topical spray that wears off.

Exposed leads or pins need shorting, not just cushioning

That's a conductive-foam job — carbon-loaded foam that holds the leads at the same potential, the classic black foam under a component. We supply both; the right one depends on whether you're cushioning a product or protecting exposed pins.

A finished device needs to survive drop and vibration

Engineered foam immobilizes the device so it can't move in the box, distributing the impact instead of transmitting it. Cut to your enclosure on CNC or die, repeatable run to run.

You're qualifying a nearshore supplier to de-risk the China lane

We're in Tijuana — same border, USMCA duty-free, days not weeks. Sample a cavity insert and drop-test it on your line before committing a production order.

WHAT WE'D QUOTE

Our recommended starting point.

Every quote is built from scratch — but these are the products we end up specifying most often for this kind of buyer.

COMPLIANCE WE STAY ON TOP OF

The specs we read so you don't have to.

  • ESD-safe foam graded to a surface-resistance spec (dissipative or conductive)
  • Aligns with ANSI/ESD S20.20 and IEC 61340-5-1 handling programs
  • ESD property inherent to the material, not a topical treatment
  • Lot and batch traceability on every run
WHY NEARSHORE, FOR YOU

The Tijuana case.

Tijuana is one of the densest electronics-manufacturing clusters on the border. Importing anti-static foam from Asia means long lead times and a tariff exposure on a low-value, high-cube product — backwards economics. In-country engineered ESD foam arrives in days, duty-free, cut to your part.
